Go Badgers!!!

The Wisconsin Badgers played for the Big Ten tournament championship on Sunday, and Daddy and I got all dressed up to watch it. They played awesome and won the whole tournament! This is by far the best Badgers team I’ve ever seen, but I guess that’s not saying a lot. Daddy says they’re good, but he doesn’t think they’ll go to the Final Four. He should stop being such a pessimist, it’s a bad example for me.

Later that night the Badgers got a #3 seed to the NCAA tournament. I was pretty happy with that, but daddy says they got screwed. What’s screwed mean??? Anyway, we’re looking forward to watching them on Thursday, and hopefully again on Saturday. Daddy says this is the best time of the year in Sports, even better than college football bowl season. I don’t know, I sure liked football, so I’m pretty excited for this! Daddy says we get to watch basketball all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!!!!

Now that I’m crawling all over the place, I get to check out and explore so many new things. The other day I found this really cool picture frame that has pictures of all of my cousins on Daddy’s side of the family. I kept looking up at it and laughing and laughing. It just made me laugh so much because I love all of my cousins so much. They’re all really cool, and I can’t wait to see them again. I’m sure some day they’ll be getting me into trouble, but whatever! Here’s a picture of me “looking up to” them!!!

How do I know? Because whenever I cry, she comes running to pick me up. Check out this picture, this is from last night. Mom and Dad have been trying to let me cry to sleep, but I don’t like it very much. So, now I’ve figured out that I just need to keep crying and Mommy will get out of bed and come get me. This picture is proof. Ferber and Weisbluth have nothing on me, baby!

This is my dog, Beatle. He’s a Giant Schnauzer, and he weighs 100 lbs. That’s 5 times more than I weigh!!!! I like watching him walk around, and I like rubbing his fur. He doesn’t really care too much about me either way, though. He’ll probably start liking me more when I start feeding him under the table.

But can somebody tell me why Mommy and Daddy keep calling him my “big brother”??? Can’t they see that he’s a dog and I’m a baby? They’re not the smartest people, I guess.

More Bathtime!!!

I love bathtime!!! Mom and Dad started giving me baths in the sink, and I just love it. It’s nice and warm and deep, and Mom and Dad are right at eye level so it’s easier for me to play with them. As you can see in these pictures, it’s a lot of fun.

Daddy took this picture of me in the bathtub the other day. He used the camera on his cellphone, so the picture is not the best, but he and Mommy still think it’s a cute picture. As you can see, I’m sitting up all by myself in the bathtub now!!! No more laying down and getting soap and water in my ears. That sucked. Now I sit up and play with my rubber duckies, splash my mom and dad, and have a great time. I get excited and start laughing just when I hear Mom or Dad start running the bathwater! Bathtime rocks.

This is a picture of me and my Cousin T. Daddy took me over to Grandma P’s house for a baby shower, so I got to hang out with T all day. He’s pretty cool. And he’s even younger than me!!!

At Christmas, I stole his pacier right out of his mouth. It was awesome. There was nothing he could do about it. Like taking candy from a baby.

So, I’ve been sitting up on my own now for a good couple months. It’s pretty cool, actually. I can sit there and play all by myself and not have to worry about someone always holding onto me and giving me the toys THEY want me to play with. Now I can reach out and grab anything I want. It’s awesome. But ever since I started grabbing for stuff, Mom, Dad, and Grandma have started moving all the fun stuff out of reach. Until now…

Now, I’ve started crawling. Actually, I can only go backwards, and in circles, but it at least gets me from point A to point B. Problem is, I

don’t have much control of where I’m going. For example, check out what happened to me when Grandma put me on the floor next to the bed!

And then, right as I was about to get all the way under the bed, she pulled me out from under it! These people keep ruining all my fun.

Teeth!

When I was four months old, I got my first 2 teeth. Boy, did it suck! I was crabby, couldn’t sleep very well, and had a bad rash all over my body! Mom and Dad took to me to see a baby dermatologist (I don’t understand why they call her that, because she’s clearly not a baby…), who said she thought I had atopic dermatitis. In other words, I had a rash. Doesn’t take 6 years of med school to figure that out.

Anyway, the two front teeth on the bottom came in within one day of each other, and then my rash and crabbiness went away. Thank God for that.

Now it seems like my teeth on the top are coming in, but I’ll tell you more about that when they come.
